Winter Term: Is the Bible Trustworthy?

On Thursday nights in January, the entire Grace DC network will come together for Winter Term. We’ll be studying: “Is the Bible Trustworthy?”

“The Bible is full of mistakes”…”the Bible was written by flawed and biased men”…”the early Church’s political and social agenda determined which books make up the Bible.” Have you ever heard these statements or said them yourself?  This Winter Term we will examine the reliability, authority, development and interpretation of the Bible in three sessions taught by the pastors of our three congregations – Grace Downtown, Grace Mosaic and Grace Meridian Hill.

It’s a great opportunity to learn more in depth about the Bible, to get to know our brothers and sisters who worship in the other congregations and to invite people who may have a lot of questions about the Bible.

Neighborhood Groups will be cancelled for these three weeks.

January 11: Glenn Hoburg, Canon and the origins of the Bible

January 18: Russ Whitfield, Authority and Inspiration of the Bible

January 25: Duke Kwon,  Interpreting the Bible

Thursdays January 11, 18 & 25
7:00 – 9:00 PM
Grace Meridian Hill @ First Church SDA
810 Shepherd St. NW
